I'm Mason Dunning. I keep the books for Canadian small businesses — so owners get numbers they can actually run the business on.
I'm Mason Dunning, and I run Dunning Financial — bookkeeping for Canadian small businesses.
I enjoy solving the messy-books problem: sales that don't tie to the bank account, costs sitting in the wrong month, margins nobody can quite pin down. Clean books are what turn a tax chore into numbers you can run the business on.
By day, I'm a personal financial advisor at RBC, working with individuals and families on their finances. Dunning Financial is my own practice, separate from that work. It's where I help business owners get books they can actually use: balanced accounts, costs in the right place, and numbers ready by the 10th of every month.
On credentials: I hold a diploma in business administration, and I'm completing an accounting diploma through Athabasca University.
